To give you an idea of how a M.A.D House event might run, here are some examples of projects we have created in the past:-

Whacky Wizards

Join Professor Irazimus the Wise and apprentice Murgo the Unready as they stumble through their magical show. Help them with their conjuring calamities, shocking spells, tragic tricks and ridiculous ramblings as the professor attempts to teach his apprentice a thing or two about sorcery. Balloon modelling, puppetry, story-telling, slapstick and much more is on offer as this hapless pair create a world of wonderment at your event. Click here for character pictures.

Mad Hatter and March Hare (Corporate, mix and mingle and Kids Show)

Time for Tea! Help this pair celebrate their very merry unbirthdays. Join them as they chase the doormouse round the table, stand on one foot to save on shoe leather, sing The Wobble Song, measure the crowd, stand up, fall down, shout, sing and generally make fools of themselves and everyone around them. Backward is forward and up is down in this crazy world of fun and frolics. Click here for character pictures.

Captain's Calamity (Kids Event and mix and mingle) See Review

Nautical nonsense and seafaring silliness and that's an order! When you join Captain Hook and the hapless Shipman Smee for their pirate fun shows. Click here for character pictures.

Storyland Shambles

The perfect entertainment package for 5 years and under. Meet Tired-Out Tom and Patchwork Pete, your guides through Storyland. They will introduce the kids to all the familiar characters of this magical place, including Humpty Dumpty, Little Boy Blue, the Old Woman who Lives in a Shoe, and none other than the King of Storyland himself - Old King Cole. The entertainment revolves around Tom falling asleep at every opportunity and Pete getting up to all sorts of mischief as Tom snoozes. Unfortunately for Pete, Storyland magic has a way of ensuring those that misbehave always get their comeuppance. As long as the children are ready to shout the words Wake up Tom! every time he falls asleep then hopefully we'll be able to keep Pete's shenanigans at bay... Maybe. Click here for character pictures.

Balloon Modelling (Mix 'n' Mingle)

From dogs to cats; from swords to wands; from alien hats to giant flowers - whatever your guests desire can be created by the simple manipulation of a balloon. Halloween and Christmas themed models are no problem. In fact, our duo of expert balloon modellers are available to mix with your guests and create fun and frolicks as they entertain and spread joy wherever they rome. Click here for character pictures.

Themed Pirate Days (Kids Event)

The search begins in earnest for The Lost Treasure of Wally Whipsinade. First we piece together a long hidden treasure map, enlist the crew through a series of silly games and then follow the clues to our treasure site on the infamous bay of Pang-Pong. Then it's lunch, a pirate show with silly dances and pirate games and then the Captain will open his book of interactive buccaneering stories, so gather around and hear how he rescued ten thousand elephants from the sinking Island of Costa Pedalo.

Pirate Party (Corporate or Kids Event)

Captain Hook and Shipman Smee gate crash your event, press gang, sing and dance and get the party goers involved in all array of silly games. Plenty of surprises guaranteed.

Kids' Parties (Kids Event)

Invite characters to come to your child's party (function rooms, marquees and halls only). We will set up a small stage and entertain a group of children with an interactive show geared to your requirements. Plenty of games and dancing for the kids.

Dire State! (Corporate Event and mix and mingle)

Hertz Van Hire and Truck Van Rental are the lead singers of Swedish Mock Band Dire State. An evening of slapstick comedy as these idiots ruin the hits of Abba, Village People, Black Lace, Cockney Rebel, Queen and many more. What ever you do, don't ask for an encore. Hillbilly Hoedown! (Corporate, mix and mingle and Kids Show)

Sheriff Shotgun Charlie and Deputy Doofus gallop into town on their trusty hobby-horses - Black Thunder and Dobbin - before deputising the gathered crowd and entertaining with slapstick and interactive games. Click here for character pictures.

A Very Bard Event (Corporate, mix and mingle and Kids Show) See Reviews

Swordplay, insults and slapstick is the order of the day as William and Bill attempt to stage their own reworkings of some of Shakespeare's classic plays. This is a highly interactive event with the Bard centre-stage. Click here for character pictures.

Robin Hood and Friar Tuck (Corporate, mix and mingle and Kids Show)

Mayhem is assured when this pair of foolhardy rogues stride onto the scene. Robin is more concerned with retaining his good looks than attempting any feats of bravery and the Friar is led less by his sword and more by his stomach. For an extra special treat, Maid Marian can also make an appearance restoring some sanity to this otherwise hapless double. Click here for character pictures.

The Wizard of Oz (Corporate, mix and mingle and Kids Show)

Help the Scarecrow find a brain and the Tin Man find a heart, then follow the motley crew along the Yellow Brick Road into the woods where the cowardly lion waits to jump out on the crowd. Click here for character pictures.

Rhyme Time (Kids Event and mix and mingle) See Reviews

Nursery Rhyme and Make believe is the theme when Old King Cole and The Grand Old Duke of York join forces in a kiddie comedy show. Click here for character pictures.

Sofa Surfers (T.V.)

Zeb and Jethro are West Country surfers who get children fit from the comfort of their own sofa. These characters are the exclusive property of Nickelodeon. Yes, we do T.V. as well! Click here for character pictures.

Men in Black (Corporate, mix and mingle and Kids Show)

Picture this; your event is going swimmingly and then suddenly there's a knock at the door. Sorry to interrupt madam, there has been a confirmed sighting of Alien infestation at your event. I'm afraid we're gonna' have to take over. Everyone is a suspect until proven otherwise. The Men in Black show is an interactive event where participants take part in a series of utterly stupid and thoroughly humiliating games in order to prove they are not aliens. By the end of the evening we will rid your event of The Scum of the Universe! Click here for character pictures.

Booze Brothers (Corporate)

Drunken slapstick is the order of the day as Chicago's answer to Little and Large attempt to put a band together from unfortunate onlookers. So hide the alcohol and warn the local Priest, 'cause the Booze Brothers are coming and they're on a mission from God!

Wacky Waiters (Corporate)

The Parisian answer to Basil Fawlty and Manuel ruin your dinner function by climbing onto tables, throwing food at each other, insulting the guests and generally causing a massive nuisance.

Super Zero's (Corporate and mix and mingle)

It's the 1980s. The style is big bouffant hair gelled into curls with ridiculous quiffs and stupid Tom Selleck moustaches and as for the men... Showing on TV is M.A.S.H, The A-Team, Knight Rider, Air Wolf and of course Batman, Wonder Woman and The Incredible Hulk. Super Zero's is an evening from the past. A trio of bumbling idiots with a wardrobe of costumes and a trunk full of party games (probably the same ones you threw away twenty years ago) give you an eighties night to remember. Click here for character pictures.

Potted Histories (Corporate Show UK and Overseas)

Four actors, a trunk of props and a stop watch. That is all that is required as we race through 500,000 years of hysterical history in thirty minutes. Castles, Stately Homes, Renovation Sites, Ruins, City Centres. If there is a story to be told, we can tell it. Just give us the facts, the legends, the background, the truth or the fiction and we will write and perform a script that will have you howling with laughter and yelling encore!

Harbour Delights (Corporate Event UK and Overseas)

Savour the atmosphere of a gentle cruise as day turns into night. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and relax as the melody of live music creates just the right tone then despair as The Ambassador and his wife ruin it all! I've never laughed so much - Summer Sun (July 2002)

Charles Worthington (Butler to the rich and famous) will meet your party at an agreed place and introduce himself and explain the evening's events. Each reveller will be announced as they step onto the boat and the ladies handed a long stem rose. Charles Worthington will then introduce the other characters on this vessel, which consist of The Ambassador George Soames and his already tipsy wife Valarie. The music will begin and the cruise will get underway. Well known sites will be pointed out and the three characters will interact with the guests encouraging the keen, to join them in some gentle dancing which promises to quicken up if spirits allow. The evening culminates with a poem featuring all the guests written during the cruise and presented by Charles before docking. This is always an incredible evening of fun and laughter.

You book the boat and the skipper and we'll do the rest.

Santo Panto (Family Show)

Add an original element to your seasonal event with this specially-crafted reduced pantomime with all the trimmings. This can be performed with a cast as small as three and condensed into twenty minutes. Whatever your theme, be it traditional, Victorian or out-and-out wacky, we can provide it. Click here for character pictures.

Chuck and Junior (mix and mingle)

As American as a Double Whopper with Fries, and just as tasteless. These colourful brothers from the shallow end of the gene pool are new in the U.K. and stumble into your event needing directions. Complete with Hawaiian shirts, Bermuda shorts and curly hair, these class-A buffoons will ensure everyone is "having a nice day." Click here for character pictures.

Story Telling (Kids Show)
Harry Patter See Reviews

As his fifth year at Hogwits School of Witchcraft and Wizardry approaches, 15-year-old Harry Patter is in full-blown adolescence, complete with regular outbursts of rage, a nearly debilitating crush, and the blooming of a powerful sense of rebellion. These performed readings are led by Professors Bumbledore and Snoop and are intermingled with humerous anecdotes, games and plenty of interaction. Click here for character pictures.

Pirates

How did Captain Wally Whipsnade find the lost treasure of Cosa Pedalo? Where is the hidden ruby of Rip Van-Griddle-Pan? And why is Pirate Captain Lynchbucket so smelly? For answers to these questions and more join your pathetic pirate pairing for stories that will make you gasp, gurgle and groan.
