ENTERTAINMENT fit for a king was provided by two royal nursery-rhyme characters and the Nicholson Centre, Maidenhead on Tuesday.

Old King Cole and the Grand Old Duke of York put on three shows for youngsters visiting the shopping centre.

The royal pair danced, performed comedy, and got into the Easter holiday spirit by playing disco music and encouraging their young audience to join in.

It was the second holdiay event organised by the centre. Last week Little Bo Peep visited.

Manager Jane Wright said Hundereds of children saw the show and they had a great time.
